Datafeeds are the most efficient way for us to collect merchants' wine lists. A datafeed is a structured, web-based document. You can easily create one to list your current, in-stock wine inventory.
create a web page (XML or delimited text), with a URL such as:
Please do not add password protection.
add your current, up-to-date inventory, with each line item containing:
Wine Name: It's best to stipulate wine color and grape variety (where applicable) in the wine name. Beers, ciders and spirits can be included on datafeeds.
Price: Please use '.' not ',' in prices ($12.34 vs. $12,34). There's no need to use currency symbols - we'll already have your currency registered in our system.
Vintage: Where possible, please use a 4-character format, as we list wines from the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
Bottle/Unit size: Please use consistent bottle size descriptions throughout your list. Examples of bottle/unit sizes are '75cl', '150cl', 'Magnum', '12 x 75cl bottles', 'Case of 6 Magnums'.
Deep link: Deep links are URL's pointing directly to a product's 'selling' page on your website. Deep links must be written in full, and begin "http://".
